📦 Return & Refund Policy

We hope you love your purchase, but if something’s not quite right, we’re here to help!

🕒 14-Day Return Window
You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

✅ Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in the same condition as received – unworn/unused, with tags, and in original packaging.
- You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.

For hygiene reasons, all hair accessories are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send return instructions. Please note: return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

🛠 Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized items
- Sale items or gift cards
- Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers), personal care items, hazardous materials, or flammable products

For hygiene reasons, all hair accessories are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

🔄 Exchanges
Want to swap something? The fastest option is to return your item and place a new order after approval.

EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order ships to the EU, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The item must still meet the return conditions above.

💰 Refunds
Once we’ve received and checked your return, we’ll let you know if it’s approved. If so, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.  
Please allow extra time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, email us at info@knitsandknotshaven.com.

📦 Unclaimed or Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us because it was not claimed or the shipping address was incorrect, we can either:

- Reship the package — in which case new shipping fees will apply, or  
- Issue a refund for the item(s) only — excluding the original shipping costs.

Please note: if we are charged return shipping costs by the carrier, these may also be deducted from your refund.
